Had a great ride!

-the bike lane networks in Queens are better than I expected and the 34 ave open streets route is exceptional. Most of the trip was on protected bike lanes with a dicey area on Greenpoint Ave after McGuinness Blvd near the entrance to the BQE (near the cemetery).

I found a few open docks in front and near citifield and was able to pull into the one closest the Jackie Robinson Rotunda.

-Citifield doesn’t allow helmets. ****update they do!***I should have looked this up but seems like a dumb rule. Yes I am aware a helmet would make a great thing to throw on the field but also so would anything I have on hand. My way around this was not to pay $15 for the mobile bag check but to strategically toss my helmet into a cordoned off garden right near the front. It was an old helmet and I was willing to leave to fate. The Citibike gods were good to me and she was waiting for me in the same spot I left free of a urine smell.

-pricey for an e-bike but 3x cheaper than an uber if those are your options. Would do again with my own bike!
