Who are the most transit/infrastructure oriented politicians in the United States?

U.S. politics are in need of a shift toward infrastructure development come 2028. Who are the right people to shift this messaging? (And this would be a focus along with healthcare, education, economy/jobs, etc.)

Light SDK: App Requests/Ideas (Apps that Support in Person Experiences)

A couple ideas for new Light Apps if any of the talented developers in our community are interested:

Equalizer/Sound Customization App: with the grill speaker on the Light Phone 3, I think we could really benefit from having more control over the audio from the device. Would love to see if this wouldn't be too difficult to implement.

Astrophotography/Constellations/Space Object App: There are already apps on smart devices that help you track stars and other celestial objects, this proposal may definitely vear more toward smartphone territory, so totally fine with folks who may not want an application like this. However I think it'd be nice to have an assistant for stargazing, astrophotography, and astronomy all around. Just the simple things like knowing what sky objects are visible, sky visibility (cloud cover), etc. Trying to think of tools that encourage ourdoor exploration and getting out of the house.

A few more on a similar note:

- AllTrails Port or similar Simplified app for the Light Phone 3

- Events App: See what in person events are happening in your local area (from music to community events to farmers markets, etc.)

With Light Phone 3 Applications, I think it's important to focus on apps that provide value as a tool for day to day necessities and those that support hobbies and exploration in the outside world. I feel as though there is a great balance we can reach in our community. Looking forward to hearing thoughts and other ideas you all may have under this framework.

Cheers,

Luke

Anyone know where to find jobs in event planning/event coordinator/event staff?

A friend of mine is wanting to switch careers into event planning and is looking for an entryway into the industry. I've been suggesting starting out as event staff or something along those lines to get into the space. Any recommendations on locations/venues/companies to get involved with?

Thanks y'all :)

Hey everybody, we run a podcast covering entrepreneurs, young leaders, and change makers in the tech and tech policy space and were lucky enough to arrange one with Joe!

We discussed a lot around his personal journey and what led him to create the Light Phone, his philosophy around the company, the importance of being intentional with building a healthy relationship with technology and what the future of the Light Phone looks like. Really hope y'all may give it a listen and let us know what you think.

Really excited about all the movement going on with the Light Phone as a whole and looking forward to seeing how the phone continues to evolve overtime :)
