Self-standing tent advice please

Hi folks. I'm hoping for a steer on a tent purchase. I need a two man self standing tent for a week long trip to the Cairngorms in late Autumn.

It needs to be a genuine 2 person tent that can take a bit of wind abuse, with enough headroom to sit up comfortably. I'd prefer to keep under £300 if possible. Weight isn't a big deal, but Id prefer a bathtub groundsheet. I don't have much preference over inner or outer pitch first.

I used a hot tent on the last trip (it was January and cold!), but I don't have that luxury this time around as there's no room for a stove. Any suggestions please?

Suehiro Rika 5k - I finally get it

I've had this stone for upwards of 20 years, and never got on with it. I'd frequently come off a Chosera 1k with a decent edge, go to the Rika and feel like I'd gone backwards, I just couldn't get a decent edge from it, and it always felt weird.

Anyway, I dug it out yesterday and decided to have a play. I gave it a decent soak, then built up a slurry (just experimenting) and ended up with a slick, slippery surface that was just a joy - tons of feedback and very smooth. I sharpened a Herder K2 that was fresh off the 1k and I ended up with a really great edge. It looks like I've been missing out for a couple of decades, shame it's a soaker!
