The Hoosier Behemoth - a Minecraft ice boat track.
I've built a bunch of different Minecraft ice boat tracks, and this one is by far the most professional looking I've managed to make.
The reason this track has so much grass (aka runoff) is because boats in Minecraft experience a dramatic change in speed from ice to grass, coming to nearly a complete stop. It's like this on both sides of the track from roughly turn 19 to turn 13, while 14-18 is designed to be very narrow, kinda like the Baku castle section in F1 but worse, because there is also some grass in that part.
The castle from turn 14-18, the casino outside of the S's (which was built for another track close by), and a Woodland Mansion in direct view in turns 1 & 2 (image 6 is from the 3rd story of the mansion) all make for some nice scenery while you're racing, as long as you remember to hit your marks for the upcoming corner.
The orange line on pit road is the point where you can get up to full speed again; anything before that must be at pit road speed. This track has no artificial time penalties; getting in the grass is enough of a natural one.
I call it the Hoosier Behemoth since I'm a Hoosier and have legit not completed a lap at the track without some form of mistake. While it's an ice boat track, I think the design is something that could comfortably carry over into real life.
