So I had purchased a ticket from Paris to Amsterdam in November, but in further planning our trip we decided to spend a night in Brussels in between. But in trying to change the ticket, the end destination cannot change, and the refund fee will only leave me with five Euros.

Since the train stops in Brussels, the question is - is it as simple as just keeping the current ticket and disembarking in Brussels? I'd hope it would be that easy but not sure if there are certain cars for disembarking only, security issues, etc. If anyone has experienced this please let me know, thank you!!
