Appreciation post (the help of the postmaster)

Hello everyone

First of all I would like to thank u/GithubCopier for his post because after reading it I got to know about opening a philately account through India Post. At first I thought there must be some online options as well but when I realized that there is no online way to open it I was disheartened. After that I downloaded the philately form and wrote an application to the head post office of my area. Today I received a call from the post office and the official was happy to open the account. He informed me that he will open the account soon and asked me to tell my friends about it as well. So at last there are good people in India Post who are ready to help and make things easier. I request anyone who is trying to open an account to try sending an inland letter to the head post office of their area along with the prefilled philately account form. Anyone who wants to open an account can follow these steps.

First fill out the philately deposit account form which is available online. Draft a letter for the same mention your phone number and post it to the head office of your area. They will surely contact you. In my case he was polite and helped me through the process. You can attach your Aadhar with the form or you can wait until you receive a call from their side and then share them.

Quite excited for the new journey 🎀

Is CFA worth pursuing in 2026? Queries on pathways, difficulty, IIM scholarships, and costs.

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m currently planning out my finance career roadmap and wanted to get some insights from folks who are pursuing or have completed the CFA program in India. Would appreciate any guidance or feedback on the following points!

  1. Is doing the CFA worth it in 2026? How is the charter currently valued by Indian recruiters in IB, Equity Research, PM, and PE compared to recent market trends?

  2. What are the ways/pathways to get CFA in India? What are the exact eligibility criteria, passport requirements, and standard registration steps for Indian candidates?

  3. How hard is the CFA program realistically? Given pass rates, how tough is it for someone balancing study time alongside work or an MBA workload?

  4. What is the role of an IIM in CFA, and can IIM admission help ease fees through scholarships? Does an IIM MBA complement the CFA, and can being an admitted IIM student help secure CFA Institute scholarships to reduce exam fees?

  5. How much does it realistically cost to pursue the CFA program in India

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to share their experience in the comments ^_^.
