How many notebooks/notes should I bring? Also, are there any other essentials I should take on the first day?

Hi everyone, I’m joining SRMIST Ramapuram for B.Tech CSE Core (Batch 2026). I received the message regarding the Freshers’ Induction Programme on August 14.
I have a couple of doubts about the instructions:
1.The message says “Please keep your registration/admission details handy.” What exactly do they mean by “admission details”? Do we need to carry any specific document, admission letter, registration number, fee receipt, etc.?
2.The counter guide shows different labels/ranges such as A, A, B–E, F–I, J–M, N–Q and R–Z, but the message doesn't explain what these letters refer to.
Also, if anyone attended a similar SRM induction before, could you please clarify how the counter allocation works?

I completed my online enrollment two days ago. For the physical document verification/enrollment, will the university send an email with the specific date and time I need to report, or can I visit on random day? I'm a bit confused about the process. Thanks in advance!
I'm joining SRM this year as a dropper (I took a gap year after Class 12). During the physical document verification/admission process, do I need to submit a gap certificate or gap affidavit? It isn't mentioned in the document list I received, so I wanted to check if anyone who joined SRM after a gap year had to submit one.

Need help regarding SRM Ramapuram management quota admission.
I paid ₹10k registration fee first, then after that the ₹1 lakh seat booking payment link opened and I paid that too. But the remaining ₹3 lakh payment link has not opened yet.
My neighbour said they received an “alert” message and got the remaining fee payment link immediately after paying ₹1 lakh.
Is this normal? Does SRM open the remaining payment link later for some students? Anyone who went through the same process in Ramapuram campus please help.
