Anyone have experience moving from inpatient to clinic?

I currently work 4/5 DDNN in inpatient oncology. I'm looking to make a switch to the outpatient oncology clinic because I am sick of nights and want to spend more time with my partner who works a typical M-F. Straight days are not an option where I currently work. I'd also be interested in a chemo infusion clinic, but those postings are even more elusive.

Has anybody made a switch like this? How did you like the 9-5 life? I've never worked anything but the 4/5. I really value my 5 off (easy to make appointments, do errands) but I do not want to do any nights anymore, so this seems to be the trade-off. How was outpatient compared to inpatient?

Amsterdam to Paris October 4 - at what point do we decide to fly?

Been checking daily for months for this trip, with the message "Trains are planned for this date, but tickets aren’t on sale yet. Please check back soon." I do know that there is maintenance planned this weekend.

Yesterday I noticed that some of the displayed times changed, though nothing is available to purchase yet. The earliest is a 13:43 train, and it's 5 hours long (I assume because they have to take an older route due to the maintenance work). Leaving this late will will lose us an entire Paris day, and we already have our Amsterdam and Paris hotels booked and other things planned.

This is my first time with Eurostar. Historically, does anyone know if the displayed times being changed, even without tickets available to purchase, means that those times tend to be set in stone by the time they're released? At what point should we decide to fly? Flights are looking to be about $280 CAD each for this one-way flight, which is much more than the Eurostar would be, and without the convenience of departing/arriving in the city centres.

Thank you!
