There’s just something about watching this guy, that’s way too funny when you’re a doctor yourself.
Him kinda reminding me of this old med school professor I had, who was one of the smartest people I’ve ever met, makes it even funnier to me 😂😂😂

I know the exact model i want, although i would like more input on which lenses to buy. Im still unsure of buying it online so im looking for a physical store where i can purchase it from. 😌
I’ve been planning to buy my first camera for quite some time now, and my parents have very graciously agreed to get me one. The problem is, the more research I do, the more confused I become. I’ve been watching countless YouTube videos, reading reviews, and comparing models, but instead of narrowing down my options, I’ve only ended up with more questions.
.
My primary use case would be capturing both photos and videos of my everyday life, travels, and special moments. I’m also planning to start a YouTube channel in the near future, so I’d like a camera that’s equally capable of shooting high-quality vlogs and creating content.
.
One thing I’m particularly unsure about is whether I should actually invest in two cameras- an action/vlogging camera alongside a dedicated mirrorless camera or whether that’s excessive for a complete beginner. Would it make more sense to start with one versatile camera and only expand my setup later if I find that I actually need another type of camera? Since this is my first camera, I don’t want to overcomplicate things or spend money on equipment I’ll barely use.
.
I should also mention that I’ve never owned or used a dedicated camera before. That said, I’m genuinely excited to learn and don’t mind a learning curve if it means I’ll have a camera I can grow into.
.
So far, the Sony ZV-E10 and Sony ZV-1 seem like good options from what I’ve seen, but I’m also quite unsure whether I should consider something like the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for vlogging and travel. Since I’m hoping to use this for both photography and YouTube content, I’m wondering which approach would make the most sense for me.
.
Given these requirements, what camera would you recommend? I’d also really appreciate suggestions for any essential accessories or additional equipment I should budget for—things like lenses, microphones, tripods, lighting, extra batteries, memory cards, or anything else you think would make a noticeable difference. I have a rough idea of what I’ll need, but I’d love to hear recommendations from people with more experience.
Thank you in advance for your advice!
I have an upcoming vietnam trip with a 10hr Malaysia layover. Im planning to actually do something about it rather than sitting at the airport and wasting time. What do you think i can do in such a short span of time?
Edit: airport is KUL, and timing is from 12:25 noon to 10:30pm
