Flower frog

Frogs and bees agree, flowers are wonderful napping spots.

Raspberry and Thimble berry delight.

Despite the weird PNW weather, the berries are going great.

Help with upcoming heatwave and nesting masons

I'm needing help on what to do with my spring mason bee's. We're about to have a big heatwave in the PNW but I can still count at least 3 bees still trying to cap off tubes.

The spot they're in gets shade for parts of the day, but I'm worried the upcoming heat will cook the already laid eggs.

I could pull the already capped reeds, but I'm worried it would disrupt the few that are trying to wrap up for the season.

Will the eggs be safe if left as is?

Any help is appreciated.

Winter wheat yellow rust

I'm seeking some help on what I should do next with my winter wheat. It started to develop stripe rust (yellow). The picture hopefully shows the current stage of development. I recognized I was doing over head watering and that helped the rust along.

It's only a 2'x1' row that's a side project. Would letting it run its course be super detrimental? Should I burn it all and pray it never happens again?

Any insight would be appreciated.
