EP3 Used to make $30,000 now back at 2 views

I have followed the feedback from EP2 by adding a video clip at the beginning for better retention. It has now gotten 3 views in the first 6 hours, which is somewhat better than the previous video.

.

I think there is hope for this direction now. It wouldn't take too long to create the videos, and if people love them, I only hope for 10,000 views; that would create a fine career for me.

.

I don't know if I need to push for more quality, or keep this standard and push for quantity.

.

Right now, the biggest wall is monetizing the channel. I need 3,000 hours of watch time, but currently, I only have 20 hours, so I have 2,980 hours to go. I think it's not very hard, but I still doubt the quality of the videos since hardly anyone clicks 'like', let alone comments—there are none.

.

So, I think the quality of the video is somewhat not good enough? Or maybe I just haven't gained enough viewership to know that yet?

.

I think comments on the video are the key to telling if it is good enough or not.

.

Also, I followed the feedback from EP2 on the structure of the video. One user said the quality wasn't that bad, but the issue was the lack of an introduction—it felt like the video started in the middle—so I fixed that.

.

I think everything is almost in place. I just need to know if the video quality is good enough for people to actually want to watch it.

.

Any suggestions on this?

.

I'm also thinking about the video topic direction. Currently, I mostly create content around "ChatGPT news" because it gains more attention, but now I've started to think: maybe I should tell my own stories about finance? Like my failed attempts in business, my previous YouTube channel, or my time on Upwork dealing with bad clients? I think those stories would be more unique and help people feel more connected to me.

.

What do you think?

.

Also, a comment on EP2 said there's no way I'm going to get close to a $10 USD RPM. Is that true? I thought in the finance niche, the RPM would be $10-$20 USD, or could even reach $30-$40 USD?

EP2 Used to make $30,000 now back at 2 views

My journey of a new start: In Episode 1, I used AI to create many videos, but the views were bad. So, in this Episode 2, after 20 hours of editing, I switched to manual editing instead of AI, but the result is even worse. Maybe the algorithm isn't helping? I think I just need to keep trying to build a fanbase; maybe people will start to see I'm trying and want to see me succeed.

.

I also had an idea based on what I've seen over the last 48 hours: I gained 41 views with 54 videos. My theory is that if I have 1,000 videos, they would gain around 1,000 views per day. At worst, with a $10 USD RPM, I would make $10 USD per day. That's decent money in terms of passive income. What do you think? Here's the new video—do you think the quality is good enough?

.

My roadmap is that I need to reach 10,000 views per day ASAP, which would be $100 USD per day. If I can control the budget so that the cost of each video is $10 USD, I would generate $90 USD per day in profit. That's the realistic view, because it could be a lot more views per day, such as 100,000 views, and I would make $1,000 USD. Wow, that would be great! But the issue right now is that I just need to get my channel monetized and gain some initial views first.

@1 How I failed Finding editing style that would gain audience for my project

I'm currently manually editing the first minute of my video, the previous ones I used AI and the result is not very satisfying, the number is not going very well,
.
The most view count on a video is around 50 views for the last 1 or 2 weeks, i think the quality is good enough but it seems people dont like it, so i'm trying manual editing since I assume people hate AI slop content, but the issue is it takes so much time for editing the video,
.
so far I've spent 1 day for just 1 minute of edting and there's 5-6 mins to go. also my chanel is not moetized yet,
.
the first batch of AI video cost me around 500 usd and I got nothing in return, this is so bad for. but I hope the manual edit would start to gain fans and
.
I'm projecting that I would earn 10 usd rpm and if I got 10,000 views for each video then I would earn 100 usd that's good enough if I could produce 1 video everyday.
.

Here's the short video of my manual edit
https://youtube.com/shorts/k-5W6iVELI4?feature=share

6 views so far

.
any suggest that I could make money? If I got fans would that be new revenue source such as donation? I want this to be in place ASAP.
.
Should I go for super edit which would take so much time but at least would gain some fans or should I go for a little above average edit and go for quantity?
.
the plan after this is if the channel taking off, I would hire editor and going closer to automation but for now I need to live frugally to extent the life of the project.
.
I also have a job as freelancer retainer but I hate the job also the work is not very consistent and I dont have the will to find more client
