Looking at the left wing it looks like it had a black box cutting into it. Images from CN and wiki show it too. Did this mistake just make it through and then got spread or does the clipped part of the wing mean something.

I noticed this when design a KCCO/SSO inspired logo/patch. I'm thinking of imbedding the real SSO golden bow in the center of the eagle .

I wonder what's caused the odd bulging. If you have an idea send it.

No idea what pistol since there was over 6 of them. Not sure if it's reloads or factory new, I doubt it's reloads that caused this since any reloaded rounds I had are based on the hodgdon starting load.
