CooperVision Clariti Toric Dailies - Did I possibly get a bad trial sample?
Hey all,
I'm Astigmic, and have been wearing contacts since 2020, i only have ever use Acuvue Bi weekly lenses.
With my latest prescription, I switched to CooperVision Dailies, i have new optical coverage that covers contacts where my last coverage didn't at all. I had to switch to CooperVision Dailies to get my fully covered 6 month supply - but I requested a trial set before burning my allowance on new contacts.
I am miserable. Getting them in my eyes was a hassle, they kept falling off my damn finger (obviously rinsed well with contact solution before attempting again), when they finally got in, they burned/stung a bit, and my vision was blurry to all hell. Even blinked for a good minute and waited.
Decided, probably these first two lenses are no good from dropping them and rinsing them with contact solution, let me take em out - I could not take them out. I had to stop and relax a few times cause i kept getting worked up and frustrated that i couldn't get them out of my damn eyes. And eventually i was able to get em out. Tried again with two fresh lenses, first one went in rather easily with no issue, second one fell off my finger again, and to keep true to my experiment, tossed that one, and tried with yet another and that one went in. Still stung, still blurry.
I came to reddit to see if this was a common thing, a brand thing, a daily contact thing or what, and I only see positive remarks about CooperVision, that dailies are typically more comfy, that CooperVision is better than Acuvue etc..basically the literal exact opposite of my overall experience. So did i just get a bad batch or what?
