I read a post in another sub about walking your yard before mowing to scare off any critters and I came across this big fellow today. Bullsnake, so nonvenomous and helpful for keeping rodent numbers down. Be careful out there folks.
Any homeowners here have artificial turf? I'm trying to landscape a small area in my backyard for a kids playset and I'm trying to decide what the best ground material would be. I don't like the idea of pea gravel or bark because of the choking hazard so I'm considering artificial turf but am worried it would get too hot in our summers. Anyone here with turf experience that could give some feedback?
