I just watched the 50th anniversary cut on the 4k criterion disc of Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid and can't stop thinking about it! So i'm looking for recommendations to try scratch the same itch.

- I loved the unique, elegiac quality and heavy use of music

- I love how it feels like some sort of somber reflection both for the characters in the film and the filmmaker himself.

- Doesn't have to be a Western!
