Anyone up to create an Environmental STEM/Research + Advocacy Passion Project for impact on a global scale? (anyone who is more advocacy, socially, and research oriented is strongly wanted!)

i already have an idea and full year plan set up and everything, but I do need a lot of help! We have 2 founder chair positions avaliable, and plenty of chapter leader positions to be taken up!

Please, comment if youre interested and/or dm me, as I'll have some questions to see if youre a good fit and will be committed fully! Thanks!

Also, if you get rejected for the found chair positions, please don't give up because we have plenty of chapter leader positions!

im making a passion project for water access in underserved areas, and id love it if i had help!

ClearWater Rights: Youth-Led Water Science & Advocacy Lab

OUR PITCH: ClearWater Rights is a environmental health initiative that combines biological water testing with community advocacy to identify and address unsafe drinking water conditions in underserved areas. Volunteers learn to analyze indicators such as microbial contamination and water quality metrics, then translate findings into accessible reports, public education materials, and policy recommendations. The goal is to empower youth to use science as a tool for environmental justice and equitable access to safe water.

OUR MISSION: ClearWater Rights is driven by the belief that access to safe drinking water is a fundamental right, and that volunteers can use science, data, and advocacy to help communities identify and address water quality inequities.

OUR FUTURE: The long-term vision of ClearWater Rights is to become a scalable network that supports water quality awareness and environmental health advocacy in schools and communities worldwide. Each chapter would be trained to collect and interpret basic water quality data, create accessible public reports, and collaborate with local experts and organizations to advocate for equitable water access. Ultimately, we aim to build a generation of scientifically literate advocates for safe water.

WHAT WE NEED: (2 FOUNDER POSITIONS AND GLOBAL LEADER POSITIONS)

• Social Media Expert

• Secretary

• Chapter Leaders

how much does DECA cost as a whole?

im competing from Illinois and I was wondering how much deca costs to go and compete all the way up to icdc?

like obviously hotels and food costs vary, but those aside, how much does registration, scdc, and icdc cost as a whole?

if anyone else competed from illinois at icdc, id love to hear!

stupid questions: can i put a picture in my college essay?

so ive been thinking of my college essay topic and thinking about when my journey really began and it all ties down to this one picture i took that genuinely changed me forever.

While absolutely yes, i could describe this picture and still capture the same Amazing effect, but i want people to actually see it, because i think having the visual puts my story into such a stronger one on one perspective.

I own a blog, so i tend to enjoy including pictures to accompany my writing, but is this really possible to do for a college essay?
