Hey guys, I just got a quote for my house roof, as well as my small garage. To my surprise shingles came in at 18k for just the house, and the total metal on both house and garage, was $14,600. I know absolutely nothing about roofs, but i was always under the impression that metal roofs were significantly more expensive than shingles. Am I missing something? Located on rural pennsylvania
Edit: im calling back to request the quote with removal of the shingles, asking whether it was quoted with exposed or non exposed fasteners, and the gauge of metal being used. Thank you everyone
