Anyone interested to hike up Nijagal Betta on 4th July?

Hey! I'm Bhushan. A couple of friends and I go on day hikes around Bangalore fairly often, and we'd rather do them with a few more people than keep it to ourselves.

We hiked up Nijagal Betta a couple of weeks back and we're doing it again on July 4th with a few more friends.

It's a hill fort about 55 km out from Bangalore on Tumkur Road. An easy hike, a short steep rocky stretch near the top, old fort ruins, and a good view of Shivagange at sunrise. We are planning to start around 5 from Bangalore and arrange for packed breakfast to have at the summit. Genuinely a good first trek if you've never done one.

Transport is either a tempo traveller or carpooling depending on numbers. We run these cost-sharing, so we just split fuel or the vehicle and the breakfast cost.

Full disclosure, I do run a small trekking outfit, but this isn't that, it's a personal thing a few of us do on the side. I like the outdoors and helping people new to it get their first few hikes in.

Up for it? DM me and I'll loop you in.
