Inconsistency between map borders

Inconsistency between map borders

Though it seems minor, one thing that bothers me with Dragonwilds is the big inconsistency between how map borders are defined across zones.

After Brynmoor and Ghornfell, every other zone is circled with an impassable barrier - usually a big wall or something - that makes little sense to it's surrounding geography. While that's quite understandable in Fellhollow, Dowdun Reach and Umbral Sands should have no physical (or at least visible) wall separating them from the rest of the world. It looks ugly on the map (and inconsistent with the first two zones) and keeps players from the wonder of seeing a zone from a distance.

Think of it like this: after you reach Fellhollow, from that point onwards, you'll never see the ocean jn the new zones anymore. It's simply gone. You'll always be surrounded by barriers wherever you go, like you're forever in a valley or corridor. It's contained in such a way that makes it feel less like a open world and more like small levels.

New player on Phoenix - Any Gold World Passes I can have?

Hey all!

Recently I've tried playing XI on Bahamut but it felt so busy and people were so far ahead I ended up feeling lost, overwhelmed and alone most of the time, even though I had someone to help me out with parts of the grind. I'm making a new character on Phoenix because I heard it's less crowded but still has a healthy population and I wanted to know if the Gold World Pass thing is useful (last character I created I simply skipped this).

Thanks!
