Can I Add a Self-Created House Name in Aadhaar and Other Documents?
I want to update my address in Aadhaar card. In the “House No./Building/Apartment” section, I want to add a self-created house name like “XYZ Residence”.
This house name is not officially registered anywhere — not in government records, municipal records, or property papers. I just want to use it as my home name.
Can I add this house name in Aadhaar address? If Aadhaar gets updated with this name, can I later use the same address in other documents like PAN card, Voter ID, bank account, etc.?
Will there be any issue because the house name is self-created and not officially recorded anywhere?
