JAMIE GOT HER SNICKERS AND LOVED THIS GESTURE!!!🥲❤️ UPDATE #4 IS BELOW!!!!! ⬇️

I saw this note on the vending machine at work yesterday. I was getting some Funyuns not realizing it was the perfect spot to get my coworkers Snickers bar unstuck…long story short — I got it unstuck and made her a little gift for when she checks her mailbox today🙂 What’s interesting though is that I had a terrible day yesterday but still found it in my heart to do something nice for someone❤️

FYI this was put in her mailbox ON THE SAME day, it was the end of *my* workday when I got it unstuck! So it was perfect timing to pop it in her mailbox for the next day :)

UPDATE: Hi all! Yes, I will provide an update later once she checks her mailbox because knowing her, I already know she will LOVE this gesture!

And to anybody that has something negative to say, please just keep scrolling or keep your comments to yourself. I don’t care if you think it was too much, or if YOU personally wouldn’t appreciate the gesture. I don’t care. This is who I am at my core. Short story, but about four years ago I started a Tuesday motivation thing at work where I’d put little motivational cards in everyone’s mailboxes at work on Tuesday mornings. So many people loved this idea! I did this because Tuesday afternoon has been proven to be the most stressful time of the work week. I stopped doing it because I simply didn’t have the time anymore. On Tuesday this week, in 2026, one of my coworkers moved to a different office and came to tell me that she found my note card from FOUR YEARS AGO and it made her day. On a Tuesday afternoon too! That is just the type of impact that random acts of kindness like this can have. So, go be a prick somewhere else because my post isn’t the place for you.

UPDATE 2: She wasn’t at the office today :/ but I will update you guys when she gets a chance to check her mailbox. Have an amazing rest of your day everyone! Be kind :)

UPDATE 3: NO, I did not take the Snickers home to do this. I shouldn’t have to clarify this but redditors can be very…you know. Anyways, I keep a whole bunch of stationary stuff at my desk because you never know when they can come in handy! I saved a small gift bag from a gift that my mom gave me, I had extra cards from when I used to give out the Tuesday motivation cards at work, I had a booklet of mini coloring pages on my desk that I ripped a page from, then just printed a candy thing and cut it out. This took a mere 20-30 minutes of my day and it was free! Win/win for me! It might look like I have a lot of time on my hands but as a mental health case manager, I deal with A LOT throughout my day. So do my coworkers because we work at a community mental health facility, so please stop assuming and making your own narratives about an act of kindness that didn’t involve you. Thanks!

UPDATE 4: I saw Jamie today as she was coming in the building and I was leaving at the sign out desk and she says: “TIA!!!! Thank you so much for saving my snickers!!! I’ve been thinking about it all week since I haven’t been here. I was so happy. I loved the extra gifts. I’ve been telling people Tia is amazing all day! YOU’RE THE BEST!” I said, “I’m sooooo happy you got your Snickers bar!!” Jamie said, “Thank you so much Tia and I hope you have the best weekend!!!!” I told her to have a great weekend too!!! I am thrilled that she was so happy. I’m so happy for her. THIS IS WHY KINDNESS IS IMPORTANT! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

AND to all the negative people that said this was overbearing or were projecting their own personal feelings on this post…NANANANABOOBOO!!!!! JAMIE LOVED IT!!! I’m joking, but seriously guys, spread kindness to others. The world REALLY needs it. Thanks for all the sweet comments, too. I’m happy this gesture made you guys happy as well! That’s what spreading kindness is all about. Ripple effect!!! Have a great weekend everyone, go do something nice for someone! :)

Elon has implemented NEW rate limits for posts, DMS, follows, and changes to acct email per the X Help Center

I recently posted in this sub complaining about a “bug” that has forbidden me and many others from posting anything at all. After doing a little research, it appears that this may actually be a new rule. Twitter has implemented technical limits for accounts.

The specific one that may apply to us all is,

“Posts: 50 original posts and 200 replies per day for unverified accounts. The daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals.”

This is directly from the “X Help Center” so I’m going to assume it’s true. The reasoning for this stated on the website says,

“Why have limits?
** **
Limits alleviate some of the strain on the behind-the-scenes part of X and reduce downtime and error pages. For the sake of reliability, we've placed some limits on the account actions below.”

Elon, you have completed RUINED this app.
He probably wants more unverified accounts to buy Premium or his 5 software engineers truly can’t handle all of the traffic (hence the all the bugs on the app). So perhaps, this isn’t a bug after all?

Here is the link for everyone: https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-limits

Twitter never had this many bugs and issues until Elon Musk bought it and fired everyone

Originally, I came here because I was having an issue with posting on my main Twitter account. To my surprise, everyone else appears to be having the same issue. I recently tweeted about how there’s so many issues and bugs on the app that I never experienced before. It truly seems like the app has gotten exponentially worse in terms in user friendly-ness and content over the years since Elon bought it. It’s extremely disappointing to see your favorite social media app be turned into complete garbage over the years. Also, I can post on my private Twitter account — which is WEIRD. I started to wonder if I was being censored, but since everyone else is experiencing it too…we’ll say no. Maybe if Twitter had more than 5 software engineers it wouldn’t have all these bugs. Rant over.
