That cloudflare looping bullshit has locked me out of twitter for almost three days now.

Granted I should probably consider this a blessing, since I could probably finally cut myself off of that hellsite....

.....But I still have too many friends and people I like who still use it. I swear to fuck I don't know how Elon can destroy twitter even worse than he already has.

Anyway, to put it in conext: every time I try to log on to twitter, it puts me into a cloudflare loop that either wants me to prove I'm human (check a box, boom done). I also use passkey so I don't have to constantly re-enter my password. Then it goes into challenge mode, hands on a white screen, and then when I try to go back in it says I've tried too many times.

Just got logged out when clicking reply to a tweet

It just logged me out and asked me to complete "verification" while replying to a tweet. I've had to do this before but only when posting from a VPN. In this particular instance, I was replying from my laptop with no VPN, from a browser that I've been using twitter on and logged into for several months.

They didn't just send a code or ask me to do some stupid captcha, it wants me to take a picture of some BS QR code on my phone, then log in to the app from my phone to verify. I'm not logged into twitter on my phone and I don't even have the app installed as I don't need it on my phone and I like to minimize the apps I have on there. Is there any way to get around this?

how to bypass uk age verification without a vpn?

I dont mind using a vpn on my laptop, but using a vpn on my phone is a huge pain and makes my phone run a lot slower

Additionally, the accuracy of vpns working has been decreasing and it becomes annoying to have to reopen the app 5 times just to get the app to register the vpn

is there a way to bypass the verification popup so it counts my account as id verified forever? I dont want to have to resort to giving my id over to ai lol

Is everybody getting this 'confirm you're a human' thing?

I've got it on two of my accounts more or less back to back. Have had to stop using Twitter entirely to avoid losing the last one. I don't have any way around this, I can't download the mobile application and I'm not willing to give Twitter my face or fingerprint etc so I think I'm screwed.

I'm seeing this happen a whole lot on this Reddit so I wanted to ask, is this happening to everybody? Or have I somehow fallen into a small pool of people twice in a row? Is there any pattern to this happening or was there nothing I could do to stop it? This is ridiculous???

Is it a bug? App is not working. Troubleshooting did not work.

I've tried troubleshooting already. I've restarted my phone. Uninstall and reinstall also did not work. I've also cleared cache and data storage already, did not also work.

It's just on my Samsung phone. It's working on my ipad and also okay on website.

a new form of hidden replies?

on quite a few posts of mine now, i’ve noticed that the replies count will say i’ve got X replies, but i always have one less than X that appears and is actually readable - e.g, the post above only has 2 visible replies that i can see and have replied to in turn. is this a spam filter blocking bot replies, or a form of shadowban on people in my posts?

psa they now force you to verify you're human if you login to twitter through incognito mode

and i hate it. when did they add this shit to twitter? i'm scared of getting banned for logging in by adding an account through the + symbol like last time so i use incognito mode just in case but then is see that stupid pop up and have to hand over biometric data/take a selfie or hand thing and it fails most of the time... so stupid.

Why aren't my comments showing up on Twitter?

This is so frustrating. Has anyone else noticed their comments aren't showing up? I thought it was supposed to be freedom of speech. I didn't say anything controversial or rude. It keeps happening. This is the second account alre

Scanned my palm for twitter/X...

Was browsing X and then suddenly a pop up came out said i needed a phone to scan my hand or face to prove im human. I was like f this shit im just gonna scan my palm and then delete my account. I didn't think much off it and just scanned my palm quickly because no way am i scanning my face. I was thinking what can they do with my palm just by scanning since im not touching anything with it so i just did it. Afterwards i just felt abit uneasy. Like 'what did i just do?'

Yes before u call me stupid and all that, i just didn't wan't my X account to just be sitting there with me being locked out, so i only did it just to delete it afterwards.

What are your guys worst case scenario conspriacy theories about this? Im just a bit paranoid right now, but there was no way to delete the account if i didn't do it...

The new payout system is bullshit and it's going to be worse for creators

I've been running fashion pages for a decade, and I signed up for Premium hoping to get a little return on the time I invest in this passion. At first, it didn't pay much, maybe $15–$20 once or twice a month at most. Not terrible, but pretty low considering it came off millions of monthly views.

Things improved around mid-to-late 2025, but suddenly this year in January and between June-August, the payouts completely stopped. I know it's a slow period for news right now, we're between seasons for a major brand I cover, but receiving zero payout for several periods despite millions of views makes no sense.

On top of that, this new system they're implementing sounds terrible. They claim it's based even more on Premium views. Fine, but claiming I only had 250K Premium views over the last 90 days when I get millions of total views in just a week simply doesn't add up. The new rules are vague, and I suspect the lack of clarity is intentional so they can do whatever they want without offering real explanations.

Twitter Verification Broken on Endless Loop?

I've been getting hit multiple times with, "Do a challenge to verify you're human" on Twitter (even though it doesn't make me do a challenge most times?). Just today, it finally broke somehow, and now I'm totally locked out of my account as it gets stuck in an endless verifying browser loop and then I get a, "Maximum attempts reached, please try later". The farthest I got was getting back to, "Your account is locked!" once!

Is anyone else experiencing this bug or is it just a me problem? Did Twitter roll out an update and break things?

Let's confirm you are a human: No Thanks

I've had a Twitter account for almost 17 years now, literally since 8/21/2009. I was able to access the site earlier today, did some gaming earlier, went back to Twitter and now it wants me to "Confirm you are a human".

No. Thanks.

For one, I trust Twitter/X/Elon with zero amount of my information. Like, none. I barely trust them with my e-mail and phone number, let alone whatever info they want for this thing.

Secondly, even if I wanted to do this stuff, the App is busted and doesn't actually do anything.

Thirdly, there is already a massive bot/non-human problem on Twitter, as it is. There are thousands, maybe millions, of accounts that have a woman's picture, around 2,000+ people followed, and only 3 people following them.

Or the bot accounts that were made in like 2019, but somehow only have 300 tweets, and 95% of those just happened in the last three weeks.

If they push this nonsense onto more people, I can rest assured that the site will officially be done.

Boosted tweets

I am an iOS app user, and I block every single ad that pops on my timeline.

Since they enabled ‘boosted’ tweets the timeline has become a cesspool of useless irrelevant content, and I just can’t keep up with the blocking. (You get a boosted tweet for every other 2-3 tweets)

So now I am forced to use the browser version with ad-blockers instead of the native app, and I just hate it. The interface simply sucks compared to the app.

Anyone has some kind of recommendation or alternative to this?
