Musicians who hate AI Music, what use of AI you would tolerate or enjoy in the Music Space

I don't want to create another debate about AI-generated music, but I think AI could still have some positive uses for musicians.

To me, generating a whole song with AI is no use for a musician. It defeats the point.

But I use AI constantly in my engineering job and I also automate things in my personal life.

I personally have been playing music for many years but I don't have the professional experience in studios or professional live music. Sometimes I think could bypass some of my limitations to actually create more or better.

So, thinking outside the box: what AI tool, or any new technology, could realistically exist that you'd actually want to use as a musician?

How I removed 90% of my pain caused by CPPS

I had CPPS since 2 years ago. It appeared after a UTI. It was hell the first months. I tried different methods, but I feel the following worked for me the most:

Relaxing the pelvic floor anytime I can

Myself, if I had read this in the past, I’d say that this is too simple. But once I started doing it explicitly, I realized it helped tremendously.

I realized that my pelvic floor was tense most of the time. When I was stressed and when I was not. So I learned to relax my pelvic floor as much as I can and whenever possible.

How: I make sure my pelvis, perineum, and anus are relaxed as much as possible. I let the pelvic floor drop, kind of like when you are going to pee. I maintain it for about 30 seconds.

When: I built a habit of doing it with high-frequency activities. Anything I do frequently during the day. Whether it is peeing, drinking water, etc. It’s a bit like when you try to be present during everyday activities.

So I try to do this exercise about 10 times a day or more. It also makes me feel good knowing that I’m not holding tension in that part of my body.

You can add it to breathing, meditation, prayer, or any mindfulness activity. The point is simply to relax everything and especially relax that area. Im sure it also has other benefits to not be tense most of the time.

I still have CPPS, as i notice it flares up when im sick or very stressed. But I removed many of the symptoms I had and I can say I have a normal life unlike before.

Best YouTube Coach

I will be training without a coach for some months. Im looking for a Youtube channel that provides helpful training advice consistently.

Its hard for me to know if the content of a channel is good enough. Some videos have good footage but not sure if the content is worth sticking to for months.

Im looking for advice on technique and drills to improve technique.

Thank you!

Pilot Hostel - Porto - Vibe Review

I stayed in Pilot Hostel in Porto.

It was mid at best.

It was not social at all. Everyone was either in their (really big) group, or doing their own thing. Talking to people was as hard as doing it in a cafe or in the street. The social element was dead.

What killed it for me tho, was the pub crawl. The first day I signed up for it, sat waiting for an hour, and the guy in charge came to tell me "sorry bro, not enough people, come back tomorrow". Wasted my night pretty much.

Second day, I went to what ended up being the most mid Pub Crawl in all my years of traveling. Imagine the most mid things that can happen in a Pub Crawl. There was one big group of one particular nationality, and me. The first bars were empty and it was just our group awkwardly dancing in the middle. The last clubs were full but since it was a miss for me with the group I was in, I decided to call it a day and went back to sleep.

The hostel also didnt encourage any activity. The acitvities that were promoted were from another agency and I didnt want to pay extra to go alone in a van to some random tourist activity.

What annoys me the most is that it was July, a weekend, and the hostel was pricey.

Porto was a cool place. Met some people outside and I had a good time in the city. I made a mistake relying on the hostel.

Madrid - Cats Hostel Vibe check

I will be with a friend looking for a nice social hostel. I have been in OneFam before (not in Madrid), and I really liked it. But for this time, I will be needing to do my own thing in the morning and OneFam seems a bit too expensive for 3 nights.

Anyone stayed in Cats? I seem to get mixed reviews for it. Is it social or is it one of those hostels that has a bar and a pub crawl and not much more for it.
