Difference two years can make.

I know it’s not going to be completely accurate but the trend of where I am going and want to be compared to I would say my lowest point in fitness in my life. Two years ago August was when I said this is getting ridiculous. 42, male for context.

What a difference consistency makes.

Went from almost having a heart attack trying to run 5 (which I was unable to do) just setting a new PB yesterday. Most of this was done by walking every day and building a base.

The first was my attempt last year and the second was after months of walking, then started really running around December of this past year.

Time differences when running

I just ran in a local 10k race and my watch time on my ultra 3 was 52:04 with an average pace of 5:10 a km. However, my race time / chip time was 54:18. That’s a big discrepancy. Does this happen to anyone else and how do you pace yourself if you can’t rely on the data from your watch.
