Should I do this sit if there are no reviews?

I’ve been chosen for a house sit for a cat (cats are my specialty) and it all looks good except, when I go to look at their past sitter reviews, I can see the pic that said “Sarah sat for this cat on these dates etc” but there’s no review from the sitters underneath. I went on the past sitter’s accounts but can only see the review from the pet owner, about the sitter which is a rave review for one and nothing for the other. There’s no reviews written from the sitter’s point of view. Am I missing something?

VOD being phased out

Got a notice that VOD is being phased out. Not surprised, it’s been hanging on by a thread for a few years.

Am I expecting too Much?

So last night I went out to the pub - nothing big, not out-out… Met a few friends, no alcohol, couple of hours of chit chat then walked home. Woke up today like a dead dog - migraine, nausea, exhaustion. Feel like I need two days to get over it. Get over what though? It wasn’t even that good! Just thought I needed to get out there and be sociable seeing as I’m in a committed relationship with my sofa, but it seems like I should just continue to stay in and rot. I used to be out five nights a week in a club, dancing and living my best life - Anyone else dealing with this?

24/7 Blood pressure monitor inaccurate

My cardiologist fitted a 24 hour BP monitor. I wore it for a few hours and kept getting great readings like 136/82 (unheard of for me) so I took it off after 5 hours and abandoned it. Went back a week later with my BP machine and they brought the hospital BP machine as well. They did a reading on the 24/7 monitor it was 156/82, a reading on my BP monitor it was 173/115 and a reading on the hospital BP monitor, it was 186/110.
The 24/7 monitor was a good brand, had been correctly calibrated and was the correct cuff size and I tried two different ones. They then stopped asking me to use it and I’m back to monitoring myself twice daily and getting averages of 150/100 as usual. Just a warning to anyone getting a 24/7 monitor, ask them to check it against their other machine before leaving. It shouldn’t be exactly the same but it should be somewhere near it. Trust your gut when dealing with medical personnel - at first they told me it wasn’t possible it could be inaccurate but I wanted to test it properly.

I’ve had high BP for many years and the cardiologist has fitted me with a BP monitor this morning. My readings in a hospital setting are always around 160/110 region. When the nurse fitted it she tested it and it came up as error. She said that was likely because my BP was too high. Then she tried again and it came out 136/82. I feel very doubtful about this as my BP is rarely that low when I’ve meditated at home and never in a medical setting. Few hours later and it’s coming up with an error message 50% of the time and only works if I stay stock still. Then the readings are suspiciously low and when I check them with my own BP monitor, they come out as what I normally get (around 100/95). I don’t trust this machine. I know my machine could be wrong but it’s a good brand, fairly new one and is consistent with what I get when doctors do it. Any thoughts or experiences with this?
