how does the triad work?

i got the forest driad pretty passively to level 5, and i heard that its one of the best sets around at level 6. but no matter what i try, its just plain bad!

the moves dont deal a lot of damage, and they require mist energy, which doesnt recharge passively, and the root thingy misses almost all the time.

i know its my fault, but its worse and harder to use then most of my other sets as is. if there is something simple in missing to make it really good, id love to hear about it.

how do i beat the hard ok fighter with bc level 6?

as mentioned in the title, i have the bc at lvl 6, but despite being an op set, im getting destroyed by the chiefstain right now!!!

its just stun after stun after stun, all the while the stupid bird is inside me, waiting to interrupt me once i actually get a combo going.

there has to be a way to beat her, there just has to be! does anyone have a video on how to beat her?

is physical damage obsolete?

i have the elder's lion set level 5, and almost at level 6, so as preparation for when it reaches level 6, i tried making it a custom perk combo that synergizes with it's gimmick.

from what i understood from the level descriptions, it mainly deals physical damage, it has pretty good defence, and it has superb crit stats. so the combo i found for him is as follows.

helm: rock and field medicine.

armor: predator, revenge, and himmelstein's power.

weapon: shadow burn, berserk, and bleeding.

i currently use himmelstein's power, sven's flame and revenge for the armor, and rock and shadow blades for the helm, since field medicine and predator arent max level yet.

theoretically, the combination of himmelstein's power and the elder's lion set should be a match made in heaven. the elder lion's crit chance (without including the bonus from the special move) is a staggering 23%, which might not sound like a lot, but the usual crit chance is around 5-8%. couple that with his good defence, and himmelstein's power should boost his crit damage by 96% early in the round, and his defence will still be 27% higher then normal.

it should work like a charm, right?

NO!!! even with the maximum 6 himmelstein shards, which should boost his crit damage by 96%, IT! DEALS! NO! DAMAGE!!!

i dont get it!! while my level 4 MOL can one shot the tournament of fame opps, a level 5 elder's lion with premium perks barely deals any damage!

i just be doing something wrong! there is no way there is such a rediculous difference between the elder's lion and other sets! a level 2 buried centurion is stronger then it!

the eclipse set perks.

im thinking of making the eclipse set my third level 6 set. i have the meta and shadow colossus already and i just got the eclipse to level 4. and so far, i really like how much damage it does and how fun it is to use. the problem is that my herald perks are very low level, and most of them affect shadow energy and shadow form, and they dont work with the eclipse since he uses rot energy.

i am here to ask which perks i should use for my helmet armor and sword before i waste any time upgrading the wrong ones.

i need clarification on how damage return works.

untill now i thought that damage return was ass, i thought that it damaged the opponent for 50% of the damage dealt, and i thought it was bad because spiked armor did the same thing but wayyy better. but now im thinking, does it actually return the damage? like, does it half the damage you take AND damages the opponent in return? if so, id have to upgrade it asap.

i have a bunch of questions.

ok, so i piled up a bunch of questions i had into this one post.

  1. the rock helmet perk gives me a 100% chance to not fall after taking a critical hit, and it also reduces the damage from that hit by 60%. does that mean that in some cases, critical hits will deal less damage then normal hits?

  2. i have 4 weapon perks that increase damage in one way or another, i have the shadow berserk, normal berserk, shadow burn, and bleeding. i want to know what combination of perks deals the most damage, and if it depends on the set, i use the level 6 shadow colossus set with the special hammer. also, my helmet has the shadow blades perk that also increases shadow damage, does it interact with the shadow berserk in some way?

  3. as i said before, i use the shadow colossus set, and it gives a monumental 80% more defence outside of shadow form, i also have max level rock, level 10 damage absorption and level 10 sven's flame, and i consider replacing the battering ram special move with the colossus step special move for a further 20% defence while unbreakable. theoretically how much more defence will i get if im hit with a critical hit, the damage absorption is activated, and sven's flames are full?

  4. i already asked this before but i didnt get the answer i was looking for. does anyone know how the shadow spears work at level 6 of colossus? the special hammer reduces shadow damage by 75% but increases physical and shock damage by 375% while in shadow form. at level 6, the first shock ability in the fight while in shadow form is replaced by a shadow spears attack, and i wanna know if its affected by the 75% decreased shadow damage debuff or the 375% increase in shock damage buff.

  5. my last question is, are shadow moves stronger then normal attacks with the level 6 metamorphosis set? i fight entirely with physical moves, and my perks reflect that. i wonder if i were to transition to a more shadow damage focused build, would it be better overall?

why does my galaxy tab A8 spasm randomly?

i have a strange issue with my tablet. it all started out a few years ago when i bought 2 galaxy tab A8s, one for me, and one for a family member. i used mine extensively, the other one was not used as much.

anyways, after 2 or so years, my tablet started spasming randomly, im talking tens or even hundreds of screen presses all over, pressing buttons, opening apps, a real mess.

i managed to fix it temporarily by closing and opening the tablet, but at some point it got so frequent that i couldnt even enter my password before it started again. are that point, i bought myself a new tablet, which was a real piece of trash, so after a while, i asked my family member if i can use their tablet since they barely used it.

after that, i updated it, got situated, and lo and behold, the same spasm happens. it was wayyyy less severe and far shorter, but it was unquestionably the same issue that killed my last tablet. and then i began to wonder, maybe this issue affects more devices, so here i am, asking you all if this rings any bells for any known issues. and if there are any fixes for it, i would love to hear it.

fyi, my software version is one UI 6.1, and android version 14. tell me if you need any more information.

i usually watch youtube on opera since it has a built in ad block, but lately, whenever i watch videos with quality higher then 480p it stutters and stops working, the exact same thing happens on brave, and chrome, but last time this happened, i was able to watch just fine on firefox, for some reason.

after a while though, the problem kinda went away. so i tried using firefox again, but unlike last time, it didnt work, just like all the other browsers.

does any nerd (in a good way) here know what could possibly be the issue? i know that firefox is somehow different from other chrome based search engines, so maybe that could be the cause.

also, if anybody knows the proper sub Reddit to post this question, it would also help.

im looking for a manhwa/manga where the main character has to rely on physical strength in a magic focused world. i read a lot of stories with such concept but they all ruin it by either giving the mc an op skill of sort or some sort of unfair advantage.

im looking for a story with actual stakes every fight, where the mc fights brutally to survive, gaining strength, accruing injuries, and showing scars from previous battles. the mc could have a little bit of magic, but i dont want magic to be his main strength, but if it is, i want him to struggle to obtain it.

i dont really care for the setting of the story, it could be centered around an academy, survival, or anything else.

one thing i really hate when reading manhwas is when the mc gets completely battered in a fight only to be completely fine the next time we see him, so avoid that.
