Does anyone have a good understanding of the NCC plumbing requirements for WC floor drain in QLD. I have a floor drain that doesn’t have a fall to the drain. The floor will probably need to be redone as a maintenance quest as part of an insurance claim. I am aware that the floor doesn’t need a drain under the NCC. It’s an upstairs power room toilet in a Class 1a building. I was wondering if I can replace the screw in grate and change it over to a blank as a way of removing the drain from the floor area. Is this possible under the NCC?
Or will I need to cap off the drain from underneath and replace tile over the drain?
