Community decides on whether AI Generated Art stays

I’m posting it here so everyone can see and I don’t have to repeat myself. I have received several requests to ban/remove certain AI generated art. Here is my take:

I’m not an art critic, nor should I or any one person be. As long as said art is MU related the community should decide on whether it stays or it should be removed. So if you don’t like something downvote it, if you like it upvote it. If a post has a bunch of downvotes then it is probably pretty shitty and it will be taken down, if a post has 100+ upvotes, then the community has voted for it to stay.

Why is art different than text based shitposts? 1) text based shit posts are much easier to make, this morning I had to take down at least 20 posts with no fucking content including one that just said “die losers.” 2) we can all objectively agree posts that just say “wen rip” or with no content sucks, and they are all downvoted so the community basically decided to remove them. 3) a lot of the text-based posts I ended up taking down were basically scam posts coated with a few extra references of MU, much harder to do that with art.

If you truly believe your post added value and I took it down, you can always message me and I’ll take another look. I admit I accidentally took down a post today and I put it back up.

Shit posts low quality posts will be removed

Low/shit/zero quality text based posts such as “we dying” “hahahahha you lost!” “Should I buy?” “Crash and burn losers” “buy now rocket tomorrow” with no quality content/discussion about your thesis on MU will be removed. If you want to banter go banter on the MU daily discussions thread and flame to your heart’s content, putting up posts with just titles and no/little/shit for content do not belong here or frankly anywhere else.

Today it came to my attention (yall posted and tagged me 10 times 😂) that a member has been repeatedly harassing other members of this sub. That person has been removed, if you see him or his alts, let me know.

I signed up to ban scammers and didn’t want to get into banning people over he said/she said bs, but our sub needs to have a threshold of common decency. I really don’t want to be bogged down reviewing a bunch of he said she said, so going forward make the following types of derogatory/inflammatory comments or behaving the following way at your own risk:

  1. Try not to antagonize the entire sub. You piss off one person, that person needs to chill, you piss off the entire sub, then more often then not you got issues and you need to chill somewhere else.

  2. Don’t go after someone’s nationality/race, etc. Reddit will ban you, and honestly you deserve it.

  3. Don’t post inconsistent messages that make others report you. I get it, sometimes I think MU is going up, other times I think it’s going to tank, but if you are constantly stating inconsistent position sizes on a daily basis, don’t blame others for calling you out/reporting you as a fraud.

  4. Don’t go overboard. Calling someone a SOB is what it is. Talking about going after someone’s children will get you banned by Reddit or by me if i ever catch it.

Guys, we are at ATH again, which means everyday 10 new scam posts pop up. Let me focus on canning those posts, and please use some common sense, this is Reddit, you can freely express yourself and engage in banter as long as you apply common sense and have some common decency.
