Anyone have any idea what this spring could go to? I got a new 1100 mower about a month ago and when I was mowing yesterday I noticed this spring on the ground next to where I had just mowed.

The lever that controls the handle height/angle still worked and had its spring. The self propelled also seemed to work fine as well. I didn't notice anything but I imagine this spring goes to something important.

Edit: I am an idiot and it looks to belong to the trimmer!
