I’m not worried about the seller, they have perfect feedback, but am I crazy to think this is high, or is this really a good deal? There’s 2 more listed but they are buy it now only, and are higher priced.
Can someone please explain to me why, in 2026, a 40-something grown ass man is getting carded to buy a video game at GameStop?
Like seriously, I thought we moved past the all the Turbo-Christian, right wing extremist gun nuts trying to blame Mortal Kombat and Marilyn Manson for bad kids shooting up schools instead of bad children raised by bad parents…. which was almost 30 years ago, btw.
I don’t shop at GameStop often anyway because it’s cheaper to buy used games on eBay and any number of local shops around me, but I couldn’t tell you if I’ve EVER been asked for my ID to buy a video game.
Is this new? Did I miss something? Was there porn hidden in Minecraft or something? Is there a horde of children that look 18 performing sting operations to out shady gamestops selling M rated games to children?
I really thought the little girl running the register was kidding, but nope, she wasn’t going to sell me that naughty M rated PS5 game unless I went back out to the car to get my license.
Goofy and weird. No wonder GameStop has problems.
