So I woke up this morning sick but I work solos. I told my manager I’m sick and she said I swill had to come in. No one will cover for me but I’m dizzy and falling over on the job. What do I do?

So I went to my local GameStop today looking around and I saw they miss priced resident evil requiem for resident evil biohazard which was $20 so I asked if I could get the game at that price. They saw the mistake fixed and then said no when I asked again and made it back for regular prices since I didn’t really want to cause a scene I just left it at that
But should I have pushed more for it

GameStop would benefit with a vault offering. Allowing collectibles traders to remove the risk of physical storage for a premium.

Also, the flexibility to take pieces into your own custody by picking them up from a local branch.

Is there still demand or fans of wii game as i got some of the great games

I was at GameStop yesterday getting a physical disk game (Kingdoms Come Deleverance 2) for $40 used. The employee asks if I wanted to restart my membership for $25 a year and comes with a bunch of benefits with it like getting discounts on used games or getting discounts on digital games on PSN.

What you guys think of getting a GameStop Pro membership is worth it for $25 a year?

Hello, so first off happy July fourth for anybody being stuck here today like I am. This week we are experiencing a 109 heat wave. And my AC is broken as it has been all year. And today, is no different. So far it is exactly 89 digress inside the store and as much as I want to say FUCK this place and go home I need to pay my phone bill. And my DM refuses to let us close the store because our thermostats which is been broken since February inly says 89 instead of 95.

So help me god. I will leave this store with the doors unlocked if they think I’m gonna sit here on July fourth and roast!!!!!

The worst online shopping experience I’ve had.
My order was delivered by Uber, and the packaging was unbelievably bad. Honestly, a 3-year-old could have packed it better. The items arrived dirty, unorganized, and with virtually no protection, making it obvious that no care was taken when preparing the order.
Even the manager at my nearest GameStop store was surprised by the condition the order arrived in.
I returned the item through FedEx on June 22, and GameStop confirmed they received it on June 26. Since then, I’ve been ignored for days at a time. I reached out to customer service on June 30 and didn’t receive a response until July 3, only to be told they were “following up with the internal team.” Meanwhile, weeks have passed, and I’m still waiting for my refund.
It’s unacceptable that a company can send out orders in this condition, make customers go through the hassle of returning them, then hold onto their money for weeks after receiving the return. At this point, if my refund isn’t processed immediately, I’ll be filing a chargeback with my bank.
I won’t be shopping with GameStop again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else do so either.

Hello, I just redeem my points for a 15$ gift card to use in store but I accidentally read it wrong and redeemed an Online one instead is there a way to get my points back and redeem an in store?

I don’t know how we manage to not scream at our distract manager every week,, they have the audacity tell us “I worked as a keyholder before, I know how it-“ NO. YOU DONT, just because you worked as a key holder 10 years ago doesn’t mean you know how hard the job is now. You don’t have to directly deal with the companies BS on their decisions directly. You don’t have to hear the customers JUSTIFIABLY complain about corporations poor decisions. Greedy decisions.

Pokémon will never be the same again, policies and pro rewards will never be the same again, GAMESTOP, will never be the same again.

Stop telling me my job is easy when it got harder by the day to keep going just because of corporations decisions.

I went in this week trying to take advantage of the B2G1 free deal on used games and 5/5 games that I had in mind to get from looking at the app for availability locally did not have a box, all were in used generic gamestop case. Now my question is how are people losing the box? 🤦🏽‍♂️

Raising prices on preorders without telling anyone about it. I’m glad I get to be yelled at for decisions I’m not even making.

So I have a member of my extended family, my uncle named Daaron (really big hands and super blue eyes, won't give last name). Last winter I decided to buy him a gift card for a large sum on money and it was for g-stop. Well my beautiful and charming uncle Daaron flat out refused to accept it. I asked him why but he just got real silent and went out back to play in the wood pile some more. I thought that he would like it since I thik he is pokeman fan (chuckaduck and chimpchar) and my local store sells a lot of poke stuff. After he was done playing out in the wood pile and cleaning his hands in the upstar sink (probably with the good soap since his hands were no longer wood stinky) I told him that the local gstop has lots of poke stuff. He kind of got silent and said I was cornering him and that he felt like a trapped bird. I said in my calmest and nicest voice "Uncle Daaron, please take this gift card from my trembling hands. I bought this for you because I respect you and love you like a father, ever since mother was taken in the spring by the sickness....(my voice got shakey here) you have been solid like a rock and helpful and kind, making a lot of soup for me and my siblings" Uncle did not take the card. He went back outside to the woodpile to play some more, but he was being waaay more rough with the logs, I could tell he was letting out emotionals. This happened in northen state of USA btw. Do I respect his wishes and return the gift card, or maybe even preorder wolverine or other game for myself?

What is the actual return policy on an unopened new game with receipt? Husband bought a game he changed his mind on. All the verbiage online and on receipt says 15 days, but GS is telling him it 7 days, and he’s past that. But don’t see that in writing anywhere and CS is closed.

I just left GameStop because of the mistreatment we were constantly getting. Get this, I was #1 in the regional part of the company with numbers etc. do you want to know what I got? A pat on the back and a smile.

Couple of months later I’m burnt out, DM always calls our store and asks me to carry numbers. I told him I mentally couldn’t do it anymore.. do you want to know what he did? He told me to keep my mental state outside of the store and to continue focusing on my job..

But a couple of months earlier I was told I can take days off and take a mental break but now I’m just an average employee.. my mental state doesn’t matter?

The company says they care about you but they really don’t, you’re a number in their eyes..

Oddly enough, when I put my notice in the DM started accusing me of cheating with my husband.. what?? No proof nothing.

It’s weird how a company will present themselves then treat you at the end of it all. Trying to start rumors to make me look terrible.

Being a woman in GameStop is the most infuriating things to do. I got a game directly thrown at me.. company doesn’t care a grown man assaulted me on camera.. I’m done. Fuck you gamestop
