Gamestop cancelled my order before the store even opened
I placed an order to pick up the same day for some of the new kingdom hearts pin blind boxes before the store even opened and an hour later I get an email that my order was cancelled and that they waited as long as they could but again THE STORE WASNT EVEN OPENED YET.
I used to work at gamestop and from what I remember on fulfilling store pickup orders is that the employee gets a notification on a terminal for pickups. They go look for the order, print out the order info and they store it in a drawer ready for pickup or cancelled if they dont have enough quantity. The thing is that these things are brand new, like just loaded into the site brand new so it feels like the employee cancelled so he could buy them(ive seen it happen at the store I used to work at)

Something I noticed when rewatching season 1 of GGO
Theres a scene where Karen is going to buy her gear and I just noticed that they had actually games in the background such as "Digimon: Cyber Sleuth" and I blelieve one of the SAO games as well. I just think its a cool detail that was snuck in.

Introduction - 28 Cis/Gay Man, Looking for Friends/Things to Do
So I dont live in DFW but rather a town called Granbury. I've been kinda stuck here but trying to move when my lease is up next June. TBH I've missed a lot when it comes to queer culture and making friends in the community. Especially since the town Im currently in isnt very accepting and theres really nothing to do.
For a proper introduction, I'm 28, cis/gay, Im a big nerd who is into movies, games, books among other things. I guess im mainly on here looking for friends/community and to help ease myself when I do(hopefully) eventually move closer to the city. Would also love some advice when it comes to living in the city. Also I'm down to chat as well.

About 4 years ago I had collected a few of these keys during a trip and a friend had gifted me the rest. I dont remember what the line was from but absolutely love them! does anyone happen to remember the name of merch line?

Hi everyone, I'm a Texas native and have lived here my entire life. Im now 28 but have been kinda stuck in the same small conservative town I grew up in. Which as a cis gay man isnt the best. I was looking at Illinois because its considered a more popular choice for someone in the LGBTQ+ community. Also another reason is it being a colder state, I'm so tired of the heat here.
This would be my first time ever moving out of state, the most I've done is move across town. I dont know where in Illinois would be a good fit for me, Im a nerd for the most part, playing DnD and others games so maybe a place that has game/card stores or just an active community like that? I've tried your typical nightlife places like clubs and bars but overall its just not my thing.
Im currently a graphic designer at a print shop and live in a one bedroom apartment thats nearly $1400 a month before utilities. Im not sure how to go about job hunting from a different state but I guess that will require more research.
A couple of other questions I have are, what would be a good part of Illinois for someone like me to live? I've heard Peoria is nice but Im not sure.
What is colder weather living like in a place like Illinois? Winter here is 2 weeks of maybe some ice and sweater weather but thats it.
I know its probably not much to go off and probably sounds like Im rambling but I would love any other info that could possible be provided. Im nervous about moving someplace where I dont know anyone but the thing is other than my dad that raised me, I dont really know anyone in my currently town when it comes to friends and stuff.
