Guten Tag!

I'm coming to Erlangen for a few days at the Bergkirchweih. I came a few years ago with my wife and we enjoyed Erlangen and Nuremberg for a few days.

However, this year is her birthday whilst we are away! I have booked a table at Eckerts on her birthday (24th May)

is there anywhere going that would be good for a cocktail? or a very cool bar? just trying to plan a day for her.

Never been to Bamberg so open to all recommendations!

I'm so sorry if this is utter nonsense, but I'm currently watching my third documentary on UK netflix about US crimes....and watching US police officers talk with such familiarity to culprits, ask leading Q's etc...and I compare it to the policing in the UK..(watch 24hours in police custody) which is Officers efficiently neutralising a situation quickly ....no familiarity.

Then I consider all the 'real news' issues with policing in the US with race hate etc....

genuine question - is American policing that much different to UK policing?

I'm not asking with any bias, other than what I'm used to and exposed to, appreciate I might have a very poor picture.
