Katrina's Chekhov Gun that Never Goes Off

"I not only misfiled and misdated that document, I added in 10,000 others that look just like it" ~Katrina Bennett, S4E8 "Exposure".

I kept waiting for this Chekhov's Gun to go off, including the numerous times in that season & future seasons where it looked like the firm had to turn over all of their files [including when they did!], but it never did.

Yet: We have no evidence to suggest that anyone from Katrina to Louis to anyone else went back and took all those 10K fake documents back.

Wouldn't this [10K faked/forged documents] be more of a problem for everyone involved than 1 authentic document? Wouldn't it be a crime in itself, let alone take away any credibility that the firm [or Katrina or Louis individually] have!?

Curious to see others' thoughts or whether I missed something about how this plot thread was resolved. Thanks!

Littigated is right there

Why is it "Litt the hell up" when Littigated [i.e. "You just got Littigated!"] is better & lawyer-specific!? I have always wondered & was waiting for one of the characters to figure it out eventually but they never did!
