Let’s say hypothetically you had 20k gems. How would you spend them?

Back in 2013 I was able to acquire 20k gems. I stopped playing PVZ2 shortly after and I’m just now getting back into the game… I feel like I bought bitcoin in 2013 and lost access to my wallet until 2026.

Anyways, based of a little bit of research I’ve done, it seems like the best way to spend gems is by 1st, buying all the gemium plants, focus on upgrading gauntlet strong plants, primarily focus on buying gauntlets. Do NOT waste them on random piñatas.

Also if there is a wiki or thread that goes into more detail about outbreak mode can someone post a link? Can’t find much information on anything. Thank you!!
