Hey guys, I'm taking the extra condensed BCH2333 class with Kozlowski this summer and wondering if any of you who have taken it with her have any advice for succeeding and maybe pulling a 90+ in it? Any advice for the labs? I've heard and seen some of the criticism but would like some constructive advice. Thank you!
Do you feel like your critical thinking abilities have been cooked by the use of Chatgpt and other LLMs? Are you concerned about the pervasiveness of AI-generated content on social media and the internet in general? Well, we have a club to address those concerns.
We are about to launch the UOttawa AI Safety club and are looking for civically-engaged students to join as general members or as part of our executive team.
Right now we are in need of signatures to submit the application so if you'd be interested in supporting the creation of the club, please fill out this form: https://hub.seuo-uosu.com/en/club-support-form/395454
We'll be doing things like discussion panels, townhalls, guest speaker events, workshops on AI policy writing and readings, and career events related to AI policy and governance.
We have an Instagam page and will have a website up and running shortly: https://www.instagram.com/uottawaaisafety/
All backgrounds are welcome. Whether you're in engineering, business, health sciences, global development, philosophy, history, sociology, or any other field, we want to hear from you!
If you're interested in joining, please send us an email at uottawaaisafety@gmail.com
Thank you!
