Ranked #199 for Local 11's Inside Wireman program. Do I have a fighting chance at being called in?

I applied back in April and took my aptitude test earlier in June. Been constantly checking the POE list, and my ranking just showed up today. Not sure what I was expecting, but in a pool of thousands of applicants and in a city as competitive as LA, I'm not upset with that considering I didn't have any relevant work or educational experience going into it. I know it's a fluid list, so I'm just hoping for the best going forward!

Any current Local 11 apprentices/applicants can comment on their POE ranking and wait time before being called in for boot camp?

Cheapest place to buy a case of 124gr 9mm w/ FFL-03/COE right now that is currently in stock?

How much are you guys paying for a case of FMJ 124gr 9mm with your FFL-03/COE? Looking to place my first bulk order (1000 rounds), and I'm not seeing very good deals at the go-to recommendations (Target Sports, Velocity Ammo, Outdoor Limited).

Best I found was a case of Federal FMJ for just shy of $275 (with sales tax included) from Molly's Place. Probably just going to go with that for my first order. Even with sales tax, it beats any prices I'm seeing elsewhere. $0.27 per round is much better than I was paying at Burbank Ammo & Guns before I was issued my FFL-03/COE (roughly $0.38 per round).

I was considering doing the Ammo+ membership with Target Sports until I realized they charge sales tax which pretty much offsets any savings I'd have with that membership. Velocity Ammo doesn't have anything in stock. Outdoor Limited just has more budget-friendly/imported brands (Troy/Excalibur), but the Federal rounds are made in USA and I'd assume run cleaner than those imported brands. Rivertown Munitions has decent prices, but nothing in stock.

Is it just a shitty time to buy ammo? Seems like it. I've only been a gun owner for less than a month, and an FFL-03/COE holder for less than a couple weeks. So I don't really have much to compare it to.
