Edit: he says they don’t itch, but they hurt really bad if he accidentally bumps them, kinda like a boil.

What do I do for my son’s rash at this stage? Put something on it? Nothing at all? I am also wondering if he is still contagious? His shingles started a week ago today. All the blisters have popped, but he has what I’d describe as pimple-looking bumps? Is that the same as the blisters, meaning he’s still contagious?

He says the rash on the back (first pic) itches / hurts, while the one on his chest doesn’t bother him at all. He had chicken pox when he was 1, though it was going around bad in our area about a month ago. Can’t get him in anytime soon to his regular doc.
