Vietnam Vet Coworker

So im at work and earlier i was getting ready for the day at the station i will be working at for the rest of the week and my co worker lets call him Bart comes over to me and asks whats up. Hes an 81 year old Vietnam vet who is quite the character 6ft 5 wears flannel all year round, wears a ghelter hat, kind of hunched over walks like he was the guy in the big foot suit. Anyway im listening to reelz dogman encounters on my speaker and he hears it asks whats it is i tell him then he just stands there listening for a few minutes and he is very intrigued by it and his eyes go wide and he tells me he knows about those “things”. He tells me about when he was in vietnam that they would hear shit like howls, and that the tunnels the viet cong used would be “cleared out” by them. He saw one of them in a tunnel looking like it was leaving. I am not someone who thinks the military would use them as a weapons but this guy does not lie about anything.

How DM podcasters discuss the topic

So i have always had an issue with how alot of the podcasters within the bigfoot and dogman sphere discuss the topic. By that i mean they really dont do anything to actually push the envelope and try to really figure out what people may be seeing. For example when people say dogman “smiles” and make it a demonic or malevolent thing but it is a common behavior in wolves rarer in dogs to signal that they arent a threat this is called submissive grinning i listened to one of the recent DER episodes and vic straight up told a dog trainer he was wrong about the smiling thing because one time he met a dog that smiled and made it something it wasnt keep in mind the dude he was speaking to trained dogs for 30 years.

TLDR: alot of these podcasters are absolutely clueless about animals and biology.

Threw me through a loop since a co-worker told me about this and hes not big on that but this made him curious about the topic. This is reported to have happened in Pittsburgh county Oklahoma which does border a state park and Choctaw Nation. Im assuming alot of you know those are general areas people report seeing dogman or near them. I am curious about this case since i seriously doubt a stray or feral dog did this and if one did shed probably be dead but she does say it was like a dog.
