Mountain Goats Song or Magic the Gathering Card?

I once found a quiz type thing on a very simple website where you had to determine whether a prompt was a tmg song title or the title of a mtg card. I want to find it again, but Google isn’t getting me far. Any chance someone else has seen it / knows where to find it and can confirm this was not something I hallucinated?

Zipcar trying to slap me with a smoking fee

I got an email tonight saying Zipcar is charging me for smoking in a car on a reservation I had TWO MONTHS AGO.

I am not a smoker - never have been - and I absolutely did not smoke in this car in MAY.

This is the second time this has happened to me. Zipcar reversed the charge the first time because I threatened to cancel my membership after almost FIFTEEN YEARS, but I’m not sure if they will again. If they don’t, I’m absolutely disputing the charge with my bank.

I might cancel my membership regardless - this is absolutely ridiculous. I’m in NYC, so my pet theory is that someone got in the car today, said it smelled like smoke, and I was the last person to have driven it, so they charged me, even though the car probably smelled like smoke because of the WILDFIRE SMOKE that had been heavily in the air for the past few days.

I’m absolutely livid. I swear this is a scam.

UPDATE: Zipcar provided me with the “smoke incident” report, and I WASN’T EVEN INSIDE THE CAR AT THAT TIME.

SECOND UPDATE: So I read the time wrong, BUT I've figured out what happened here...

During this time window, I was exiting a parking garage. There was a very long line to exit, and there were two different exit points with pay booths. The window in the car was down because there was a person directing a single line of traffic to the two pay booths, and I needed to hear those directions. Many cars were idling in close proximity, and I think this "air quality measure" is picking up on the gasoline particles from car idling. That's why the lock / unlock time (9:51pm to 10:17pm) is so far apart, because it took a long time to get to a speed where the car auto-locked, and why I was sitting still at the time.

It’s honestly baffling and infuriating that this can even happen, and I’m going to dispute the charge with my bank for sure. The person I’ve been emailing with (or bot, most likely) said that it took two months to send this because of a “large volume of smoking reports to be reviewed”, so this bullshit is clearly happening a lot.

[US - NY] Landlord’s motion detector camera sounds an alarm every time it activates

I’ve been living in my Brooklyn building since 2017. My landlord installed these cameras with floodlights in all three hallways of the three story, three unit building about 6 months ago. He didn’t give any of us tenants notification about this before doing it, which is annoying, but we put up with it. At first, the flood light would come on and blind you as you came up the stairs, but we complained about that, and it stopped.

Yesterday, one of the three cameras, the one on the lowest of the floors, started sounding an alarm every time it detected motion. At first, it was about 10x as loud as this. There is no external mechanism to disarm it or turn the sound off. The sound keeps going for as long as you stand there. There is no other way to get in/out of the building, so every resident (there are only five of us total) has to walk by this every time.

We complained immediately and asked what the alarm was for, and my landlord’s response was “It is a feature on the camera that give notification.” (English is not his first language.) Someone clearly adjusted the volume down, but he has not responded to any of my other questions, like what is the notification for and why has this feature suddenly been activated.

We haven’t had any safety incidents in the building - not even package theft - so this is super disconcerting and weird. Has anyone dealt with something like this? I don’t think that, even with my discomfort with the whole concept, much can be done about the cameras, but I don’t know how he expects us to live with an alarm going off every single time we go past it. Like what if we’re moving in a piece of furniture? What about all the poor visitors and delivery folks who won’t know what’s going on? This is insane, right?

Pink vinyl ‘Days’ pre-order?

I can’t seem to find the pink version of the new album for pre-order anywhere: tmg hellomerch website, Cadmean Dawn website, bandcamp all just have the blue one. (And the link to the local record store option linked from the main tmg doesn’t seem to work.)

Anyone know what’s up with it?
