TWW is really tough, I’m struggling
I never thought I’d be the one to post here but this TWW is a lot harder than I thought. I was of the mindset that I would get the IUI done and then just go about my business but that has been quite literally impossible.
The trigger shot really fucked with my mind because ever side of that feels like a pregnancy symptom. I’ve had cramps, bloating, lower back pain, mood swings, nausea, headache and all of that is from the shot.
I’ve been pregnant twice before (have one daughter) and both times had the most serve fatigue during implantation. I’ve felt nothing this time so obviously am sure it failed.
Here’s my story:
- good history of pregnant - got pregnant twice naturally on the first try. My husband is on some heavy medication so we cannot conceive naturally and have to use his frozen sperm.
- trigger shot on Sunday. Clinic messed up and thaw two vials but only got 1.7M motile sperm (wrong thaw method). Since I was ovulating, we decided to thaw two vials. Did a first IUI on Sunday.
- Monday came back to clinic, follicule had collapsed (was 19mm and when down to 16mm). Did another two vials with 5.3M motile sperm. Low numbers.
The waiting is just brutal. Any symptom can be explained by the shot or getting my period. I obviously feel so so bless to have my daughter that I adore and just want to give her a sibling. I feel hopeful that it will happen eventually and so lucky that I have access to all this info / clinic etc but damn this sucks and I’m looking for some reassurance that even though I don’t feel pregnant I could still be ? I don’t want to test before the day of my period as I’m weary of a false positive.
