The benefits seem great so wondering what the work day is like for a teacher assistant or 1:1 aide for autism program if anyone has worked any of those positions for the school. Is it a sustainable career or do you get burned out quickly? Thank you.
Does anyone have any advice for a good job coach/mentor who is not just going to give one of those interest tests but can actually look at your history and suggest jobs. This is for someone in their 40s who is lost in what to do next. Been a low paid outsourced teacher aide without pension/pay for own healthcare for last 10+ years. Not really interested in being a teacher but stuck in what to do next to find a decent paying job with benefits. Any ideas?
