Advice for first Camino!

Hello everyone!
I am considering embarking on my first Camino (Frances way I believe) at the end of August. This is kind of a last minute decision as currently I am backpacking Europe. I was hoping to get advice on if you experts think this is feasible based on the current items of clothing/ backpacks I have- I obviously did not plan for this when packing to start my trip lol. Right now I am traveling with a 40L osprey Fairport and a 24L Gregory backpack. I know I will not be carrying both but any recommendations on which to take? I have backpacked the long trail before and know how to live lightly so I was considering the 24L, what do you all think? Also clothing wise I have some hiking clothes but nothing too technical (ie. Raincoat) I also have a pair of basic topo sneakers that I’ve been using for the majority of my walking in Europe. Would those be an okay shoe choice? I’m just not sure how prepared I need to be in terms of gear, I see many people using hiking poles or “fancier” outdoor gear- is this necessary? Sorry one more question! As I do have two bags and will be needing to pack one up with extra stuff I won’t be taking, is there a way to ship it somewhere maybe to a hostel further down the Camino route? Anywho, thank you all preemptively for the help, I welcome any and all advice. Thanks!

What is this weird sound coming from my 2015 Honda CRV?

Hello! I’m looking for some opinions regarding a recent issue I’ve noticed when driving my car. The other day I started to hear a slight whirring sound when I would accelerate. It almost feels as though my car is lagging a bit when I step on the gas. I’ve checked my oil and coolant and both are fine. My temperature gauge stays in the middle and my RPMs are normal when driving. The concerning issue is there is some oil residue on my head gasket. I’m currently out of state and need to travel back home tomorrow (3 hour drive) and I’m not sure if the situation I’m in is a definitely don’t drive home one. Any ideas as to what could be going on? Thank you all for any advice.
