I know not everyone likes him, I don’t hate his calls but don’t think they’re amazing either. However, he was super nice and personable. Great guy!
so yesterday morning i pulled this Kyle Teel rookie card in a topps 2026 heritage pack, and the rehab assignment was announced a few minutes later. i decided this was the baseball gods telling me something so i bought a ticket for the sox game and called up my cousin from DeKalb, whose baseball card-loving father, my uncle Brian, passed of a heart attack in 2021. i explained why i decided i had to go and he was down so he drove the 60+ miles to meet me for last night’s game. not only did Teel hit a bomb in his first rehab game, my cousin and I got to experience probably the most thrilling White Sox comeback win i have ever been present for. the baseball gods often get their way, and last night was one of those times. i only wish my uncle could’ve seen it
very promising stuff from a contact table-setter leadoff guy. you’d like to see him take more walks and focus more on making the smart play on the basepaths and in the outfield, but i’ve been very pleased with his impact in his not-yet 1 month old MLB career.
