Since the last time I posted, I've changed out the Umtanum Ridge tires for these blackwalled extra light casing Switchback Hills. They roll much faster everywhere, very impressive. I can't remember if I mentioned the Light Bicycle seat post and stem. The seatpost is either more compliant than stock, or allows the seat to be mounted in the center of the rails so they can flex more - probably a bit of both.
