July 4th Weekend in Gettysburg

One of the hottest weekends in 2 decades and I sweat like a pig taking these photos. Well worth it in my opinion although my results are flawed but I had so much fun. I think I'm finally finding my style and it isn't always the prettiest, most well composed or sharpest. I also find it hilarious that seemingly half the population has a gaudy shirt that is fashioned to look like they are wearing a cheap American flag. Probably my favorite thing to photograph. Along with all of that, I finally decided to start asking people if they would pose for a photo for me and it worked magically a few times. I will continue to try that method more in the future.

Having fun with a fisheye lens on the GR (2013)

Got a cheap vintage fisheye lens to screw onto my GR adapter and am having so much fun. Best $20 I have spent in a good while, highly recommend!

Blues and Greens [Ricoh CX4 (2010)]

My entry for this month's theme contest of plantlife. Taken on my new Ricoh CX4 that I have been trying to get my hands on for half a year or so. So far really loving the camera and find the CMOS sensor colors to be similar to CCD yet a little faster in processing. Some edits done to boost contrast/brightness and to put the frame around the photo. This may turn out to be one of my new favorite pocket camera! Will post the SOOC version of this photo in the comments below.

BW Magic on the Ricoh GX200 (2007)

Slight editing done to brighten the shadows but I almost forgot how magical the BW JPGs are on the GX200. Forever my favorite camera when it does what I want it to.

Looking to identify this stunning antique store find

Looking to ID this mixed media painting I accquired at an antique store in New Oxford, PA for a whole $45. Hand stretched canvas on a hand made frame with the name Marzahn painted on the back and a little pricing sticker of the number 382. Absolutely obsessed with it and would love to find out more about the artist. Reverse image search gave no leads as did looking up the name on here or google. Size is roughly 27 x 33. Thank you!
