3rd year BSCS student here, I want to ask some thoughts on my thesis topic which focuses on Simulated Annealing.

Our adviser told us that our concept is about algorithm enhancement, and we also need to simulate it to real-world applications. I want to apply mine to the Traveling Salesman Problem.

Question: Is my proposal still feasible for someone who just started learning about ML and has little math background? Will self-studying for a few months enough?

This is a solo undergrad thesis btw (required) 🥲
