Hey redditors,

Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?

I’m installing some led lights in my bathroom and basically I was splitting one of the ceiling lights to run a cable that connects to the power supply, then the smart controller and to the led strip.

From what I’ve read, the controller can’t connect directly to the mains and it needs a power supply to convert the power from the mains to the led strips.

I’ve connected everything using the power supply and seems like no power goes through. However when I connect the controller directly, *some* power goes through but seemingly not enough to power the leds.

I’m completely at a loss here and desperate for some help
