I recently came into possession of a pre-64 model 70 in .270 that’s missing is missing the bolt, would a newer Winchester model 70 controlled round feed bolt work? I know I would have to get the headspace set by a gunsmith but I really want to get this rifle shooting and I can’t find a pre 64 bolt anywhere, customer support at pre-64win dot com didn’t know the answer and winchesters customer service was utterly useless

Sorry for the confusing title, i recently came into possession of a pre-64 Winchester model 70, it’s missing the bolt and the only replacements I can find online for a controlled round feed model 70 are for the newer model 70’s. Will these bolt fit my pre-64? If so Will it require some fitment? Or do I just need to wait for a pre-64 bolt to pop up on eBay or something
