I am in desperate need of a job, and nobody will hire me.

I have been looking for a job for the past three years and nobody has hired me for anything due to my lack of job experience. I am on the verge of homelessness.

If anybody is looking to hire someone within the general Freedom area (willing to go as far as waterville and/or augusta), please feel free to message me. I don't care what the job is, I just don't want to be homeless

I hate the cover of the Criterion Collection DVD/Blu-Ray of City Lights

City Lights is one of my favorite films of all time and that extends to the original poster. It is perfect. The lighting is absolutely gorgeous and it represents The Tramp perfectly. From a distance he looks like a normal guy, but upon closer inspection you can see the worry in his face and the way he is clumsily holding his cane. The way they cane is also holding on for dear life is so good, it also serves to represent the fact that in this film one small slip up could genuinely cause everything to fall apart if he's not careful. If you look even closer, you can see the flower from Blind Girl on his suit which is just such a great attention to detail. It is so simplistic yet it has all these little details and I love it.

The Criterion Collection cover art sucks and I hate it. They made The Tramp and the background look like it came right out of a Hannabarbara cartoon and it does not fit whatsoever. I get why he's happy, he's sniffing the flower from Blind Girl but it does NOTHING to showcase his character. Hell, if you haven't even seen the film he just looks like he's being all happy and joyous while sniffing a flower which is a bad representation of the film in general. Everytime I wanna watch City Lights I gotta look at this darn cover and I don't like it.

Also something weird I wanna point out, neither of these covers showcase a huge part of the film. Nothing about An Eccentric Millionaire (Chaplin sucked at naming characters) is really shown off. You'd think they'd atleast have like a small stack of cash behind The Tramp or something but no. It's really odd.

Transgender woman (20) looking to meet new people around my age in or roughly close to Unity ME

(Reposting to add more details)

As the title suggests, I am a 20 year old transgender woman who is wanting to make new friends around my age in or roughly close to Unity Maine! I stupidly sheltered myself as a kid and thus have little to no irl friends. I also am not very good at picking up social cues lol.

I'm willing to go out to places as far as waterville, belfast, bangor, augusta, etc.
